The CHS dance team’s first competition of the season was the Kaukauna Dance Classic on Jan. 16. “We went into the weekend not expecting much to come out of the competition. We came home with second in D4 Pom, first in D3 Kick, a first place duet, a sixth place solo and judges choice for best Kick choreography,” said team member Cambria Deehr, a junior.  The team includes (front row) Jade Kimbro, Scarlett Kimbro, Allyson Mueller, Annalia Lopez, (back row) Coach Hanna Kabat, Ali Pinkert, Afton Frank, Cambria Deehr and Assistant Coach Melina Lopez. The team’s next competition is the Redbird Rumble on Feb. 27.
