CHS students whose artwork was selected for the Eastern Wisconsin Conference Art Show have their work on display at the Rahr-West Museum in Manitowoc until May 2.  Students in the art show include (seated) sophomore Victoria Propson, sophomore Haley Byrge, (standing) sophomore Amelia Peterson, sophomore Kaedanse Rothe, junior Ellie Schmitting, senior Callie Woelfel, sophomore Katie Schmitting, sophomore Vanila Aubry, freshman Amber Anhalt, (not pictured) senior Gabriela Vega and senior Emily Koehler.

“This show is a wonderful accumulation of work from talented youth in our conference,” CHS art teacher Mrs. Jane Schmitz said. “It is a privilege for our schools in the EWC to display the pieces of art in a museum setting.”

This year, the show is open for exhibit during museum hours but did not have a formal opening due to COVID-19 restrictions. The Rahr-West Art Museum is located at 610 North 8th Street in Manitowoc. Other schools exhibiting work include Brillion, Two Rivers, Manitowoc Roncalli, Valders, Sheboygan Falls, New Holstein and Kiel.
