Polar Plunge Fundraising Challenge Update

Polar+Plunge+Fundraising+Challenge+Update

CHS’s Polar Plunge team has already raised $12,488 for Special Olympics, surpassing the team’s $10,000 goal. Over winter break, the team received a large anonymous donation of $6,890. However, the team of students and school staff will continue to fundraise up until they jump into Lake Winnebago on February 12.

A traditional way of raising money for the Polar Plunge is the sale of hundreds of monster cookies at school. Here, junior Tyler Heller and senior Mason Mertz sell one of the tasty cookies to freshman Collin Popp. To donate, go to https://www.classy.org/team/394092. To give to a specific team member, click “MEMBERS,” select a member to donate to and then click the “DONATE” button.  Donations may also be sent to or dropped off at the CHS office. Checks should be made out to “Special Olympics Wisconsin.” Donations will go to the team unless specifically designated to an individual member of the team. Of the donations raised by the Chilton team, 25 percent goes back to Chilton athletes. Questions can be directed to Mr. Mallmann at [email protected].
