The BVC (Brillion, Valders and Chilton) boys swim team state-qualifiers take a minute for a team cheer during the 98th Annual WIAA Boys Swimming and Diving Championships on Feb. 18, at Waukesha South High School. BVC competed in five events. Senior David Suttner lead the way with a sixth-place finish in the 200 Meter Freestyle. He also placed seventh in the 100 Meter Freestyle. The third and final individual event BVC qualified for was junior Jack Shaver in the 100 Meter Backstroke. The team qualified in two relays, as well. The 200 Meter Medley team consisted of Shaver (backstroke), junior Alex Hein (breaststroke), junior Bryce Van Rooy (butterfly) and freshman Bryce Hedtke (freestyle). And the 200 Meter Freestyle Relay team included Suttner, Van Rooy, Hedtke and sophomore Gavin Buechel.
