Nomination statement: “Brooklyn has gone above and beyond with school the first few weeks of her high school career. She has turned in stellar work, been a key player in class discussions and continued to sharpen her skills beyond what is expected in our online practice program.”

What was a dream career you had as a child? “As a child, I always wanted to be a teacher.”

What is something that many people are obsessed with, but you just don’t get the point of? “Bucket hats, I just don’t get the obsession with them.”

If you were a donut, what kind would you be and why? “I would be a vanilla donut with pink frosting and colorful sprinkles.”

Who is your hero and why? “My parents are my heroes because they are always there for me.”

Who would you cast to play you in a movie about you? “Taylor Swift because she is my idol and I love her music and personality.”

If you could be a fictional character, who would you be and why? “Hermione Granger from Harry Potter because I like how clever she is and being able to do magic would be awesome.”

What is your secret talent? “Archery, I have been doing it since I was little.”
